Completed 16-of-23 passes (.696) for 184 yards and a touchdown and ran for 37 yards in the Hornets’ 23-13 victory over Howard in his first collegiate football game.
Davis was a four-star recruit from Houston’s North Shore where he led his team to a 14-1 record and the state semifinals in 2020. As a senior he passed for 3,553 yards with 38 touchdowns and 875 yards rushing with 22 scores. Originally signed with Auburn, but never played for the Tigers.
