Averaged 24.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and shot 58 percent from the field in two victories for the Broncos.  She recorded a double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, and shot 60 percent from the field in the win over  Johnson C. Smith (2/5).

Simmons is a transfer from Georgia Highlands College and is fifth in the CIAA in scoring (14.3), and fourth in steals (2.4).
