North Carolina Central Guard Justin Wright

Averaged 25.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, and shot 49 percent from the field in two wins for the Eagles last week. Scored a career high 32 points and hit the game-tying three pointer against Delaware State (2/19) to send the game into overtime. Twenty of his 32 points came in the final 25 minutes of the game and he was 10-of-20 from the field and 4-of-9 from three-point range.
Wright leads the Eagles and is seventh in the MEAC in scoring (13.3). Played at Farmville Central High School (N.C.) where he helped lead his team to a state championship in 2019 and was named MVP of the championship game.
