Duffey is second in the Big South in passing yards (1,556) and has thrown 12 touchdowns on the season. He played three years at Texas Tech. In his three seasons, he completed 245-523 passes for 4,077 yards, throwing 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions and rushed for 587 yards and five touchdowns.
