Tallied 11 tackles (6 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and registered three of N.C. A&T’s 11 sacks in the Aggies’ 21-18 victory over Charleston Southern. His sack on the next to last play of Charleston Southern’s last drive set up the Aggies’ game sealing interception.
Roberts is one of the rare players that played as a true freshman at A&T. In 2019, he was named second team All-MEAC and was named Celebration Bowl Defensive MVP. He is currently third in the Big South in tackles for loss (11.5).
