Carried the ball a season high 26 times for a season high 214 yards, averaged 8.2 yards per carry, and rushed for two touchdowns as the Tigers defeated Texas Southern 41-14. He scored the game’s opening touchdown on a three-yard run and later scored on a 41-yard run that gave the Tigers the 21-7 lead.

Wilkerson is a transfer from Delaware State. He is second in the SWAC in rushing yards (887), is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and has rushed for seven touchdowns.
