Lane Running Back Ike Brown 5-10, 226, Sophomore, Shreveport, La. Accumulated 137 yards of total offense on 20 touches and accounted for three scores in the Dragons 28-27 upset overtime win over Tennessee State. He scored on an 11-yard run in overtime and ran in the two-point conversion to win the game for the Dragons.
Virginia University of Lynchburg started its football program in 2011 and hadn’t had any success. That was in 2018 when the Dragons won four games. Bobby Rome, II is in his second season as the head coach of the Dragons and talked with Donal Ware about building on 2018.
